On Valentine’s Day we celebrate love

Hoping for a sweet surprise

From the one who caught our eyes

Gifts from those who come and go

And sometimes never show

But I want to tell you all about

The one who you should never doubt

God’s love is the greatest gift

Greater than any valentine heart

A strong love that will never depart

The one who will hold your heart so dear

Casting away all your fears

A steadfast love that never ends

One that will hold you all the time

And will always be there in the time of trouble

Pulling you out from all the rubble

Showing up when you need him most

Loving you thru the good times and bad

Being the best friend you ever had

A love so strong he died for you

So much more than anyone else can do

So as you long for a special surprise

Always remember the one who died

He will always be by your side

He loves you more than you could ever imagine

His gift of love is the greatest gift of all

So if you don’t get any flowers or candy

Remember you are loved

By the one who made Heaven above

Pray that those who receive the gifts

Of the chocolate hearts and kisses

Know about the love of Christ

And make him the love of their life
